Temple of Luxor - also known as ancient Thebes - is a sight to see at night! We stood at the joining of twelve ley lines at the centre of this complex and then explored the relief carvings that were added by Alexander the Great. On the days that we would coast along the Nile in our little boat, we could also spot this beautiful temple from afar, always feeling its presence in this sacred land. Luxor is undeniably one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited. Here, you can easily visualize and imagine the Nile as it was during ancient times, seeing the lush greenery and golden sunsets that still frame this powerful vein that stretches all the way from the Mediterranean into Burundi.
